Rough Cut Lab Africa is a dynamic and transformative lab designed to elevate long-form independent African documentaries that are in the storytelling or rough cut editing stage. RCLA brings together African directors and editors, collaborating exclusively with African consultants to champion authentic and nuanced narratives rooted in the continent’s diverse realities.

RCLA is a critical need within the industry to support African filmmakers and amplify stories told by Africans.
